Reporting to the Global SVP, Commercial for LifeScan, this Regional VP, Americas Commercial will lead the Lifescan organization in US, Canada and Mexico with full P&L responsibility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing and scaling LifeScan’s revenues across the Americas while simultaneously growing and strengthening the organization. This position will play a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s growth and profitability.
•Manage all strategic and day to day operational aspects of the Americas organization with an emphasis on performance improvement, productivity and bottom line results, coupled with team work and communication at all levels
•Shape the external environment by developing deep customer and competitor insights & relationships with key stakeholders (health systems, governmental agencies, partners in industry to industry associations, government policy-makers, health‐care executives, purchasing groups, etc.)
•Partner with Shared Services functions, ensuring effective integration across functions; includes Finance, HR, IT, Business Services, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, QA, RA, etc.
•Leverage market insights to create new commercial models and innovative solutions that optimize stakeholder value and drive growth
•Develop strategic plan for short, medium, and long-term growth
•Ensure Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization
•Lead the Americas Business Unit, to create a high performing, agile and customer-focused organization

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA and/or advanced degree in a related field is plus
12+ years of progressive commercial leadership or general management experience preferred
Key account management experience in the consumer healthcare space is required, strong sales leadership experience with contract negotiation success and proven results in driving sales growth
Unquestioned ethics, integrity with strong organizational leadership, with ability to inspire and mobilize a large organization through periods of continuous change and transformation
Experience in the Diabetes Industry preferred but open to candidates with diverse experiences from other industries/sectors with strong leadership capability & learning agility
Strong business and financial acumen with a focus on EBIDTA- Proven experience and track record in leading a complex P&L with significant responsibility
Multi-functional / multi country experiences:
Demonstrated strategic mindset, with ability to influence and collaborate in a global environment
Track record of leading large organizational change to achieve results in challenging and complex business environments
